Lightning

Usually by this time in the book I am beyond bored and struggle to get through to the next page with out falling asleep. Surprisingly I'm not with this book. It turns out Stefan is a bit of a bad ass and always seems to know when something bad is about to happen to Laura. Around this time there is a jump in time in the book. It jumps forward eight years to a small grocery in California. it's a rainy day and not much is happening in the small shop that Laura's dad until a sketchy bro walks in. He walks up the register and it is clear that he is strung out on some type on drug. The sketchy bro then proceeds to pull out a gun and holds it up to Bob Shane's face, Laura's dad. Bob gives him the money with out question but the man doesn't walk away. He instead stares intently at Laura. Bob knows exactly what he is thinking and out of now where a gun shot goes off. Bob Shane thinks he had been shot. When he opens his eyes he sees the robber laying on the ground dead. He looks over and it is Stefan but he doesn't know who this man is. But he does have that eerie feeling that he has meet this man or at least seen him before.
